Invest for children and Mi Fundación Alex joined forces to celebrate the 9th edition of Somos Uno.
Somos Uno was held on 13 May at the Palau de la Musica Catalana in Barcelona. It was conducted by two magnificent presenters, Santi Millán and Carolina Ferre, who accompanied us during this beautiful evening at the Palau de la Música of Barcelona in support of the total inclusion of individuals with intellectual disability. There wer magical moments with Mag Lari.
We allocated the raised contribution to two causes. Invest for Children will allocate its share to Aura Fundació, whose goal is to integrate individuals with intellectual disabilities, mostly with Down syndrome, into the regular job market through the Supported Employment methodology. This methodology prepares future candidates, taking into account their abilities and support needs.
Mi Fundación Alex, the Catalan Sailing Federation, and Barcelona Capital Nàutica will promote inclusive sailing in Barcelona during the celebration of the America’s Cup. This involves the creation of an adapted sailing team in our city and the Kakapo Open Race, an international competition for inclusive sailing.
